We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to serve as the primary HR leader for our high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence culture, strengthen HR operations, and partner directly with plant and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR leader who combines strong business judgment with deep knowledge of California employment law. You should be comfortable moving between strategic initiatives and hands‑on employee matters in a fast‑paced plant environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the lead HR partner and trusted advisor to plant leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the site’s HR Generalist team.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters and conduct workplace investigations.
  • Advise leaders on performance management, corrective action, terminations, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws, including wage and hour requirements, meal and rest periods, FEHA, CFRA, PDL, PAGA, FMLA, ADA, and applicable IWC Wage Orders.
  • Partner with legal counsel on investigations, employment claims, and pre‑litigation matters.
  • Lead full‑cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions in partnership with corporate HR and staffing partners.
  • Support performance reviews, calibration, talent development, and performance improvement planning.
  • Analyze HR trends and workforce metrics to help plant leadership make informed business decisions.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of direct people‑management experience leading an HR team.
  • HR experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Deep knowledge of California labor and employment laws.
  • Strong generalist experience across employee relations, compliance, recruiting, performance management, leaves, and HR operations.
  • Strong HRIS capabilities.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP certification is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
