We’re seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (Americas) to serve as a trusted advisor and operator across our U.S. and Canadian teams. This role will be a key member of our HR leadership team, providing strategic counsel to senior executives while directly managing a wide range of tactical and operational HR responsibilities.

You’ll partner closely with leaders in Sales, Service, and Corporate functions—ensuring our talent strategy aligns with Evident’s aggressive growth and transformation agenda. You will be expected to navigate ambiguity, influence at all levels, and roll up your sleeves to get things done.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary HRBP for all business functions across the Americas region (U.S. and Canada), supporting ~300 employees.
• Act as strategic advisor to regional business leaders on org design, workforce planning, talent development, and change management.
• Lead and resolve complex employee relations issues with discretion, consistency, and legal awareness.
• Collaborate with the global HR team on cross-functional projects including compensation, performance management, talent calibration, and succession planning.
• Support and influence executive leadership based in the U.S.—aligning business objectives with people strategy.
• Champion a high-performance culture and coach leaders on driving accountability and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws across U.S. states and Canadian provinces; manage risk proactively.
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset to HR systems, processes, and policies—always seeking to scale efficiently.
• Support post-acquisition integration and culture alignment in collaboration with our private equity sponsors.
• Ability to use data alongside executive stakeholders to advise on strategic organizational decisions.

What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HRBP supporting senior leadership.
• Private Equity experience strongly preferred—you understand the pace, pressure, and metrics mindset of a PE-backed business.
• Proven ability to work across both strategic and tactical levels—able to advise a CEO and also solve an employee dispute in the same day.
• Previous management experience.
• Proficiency with HR applications and payroll systems (ADP preferred).
• Deep experience in U.S. employment law. Working knowledge of Canadian labor practices - preferred.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills; you influence with credibility, not just charisma.
• Experience leading through organizational change, including restructures, integrations, and transformations.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building HR in a dynamic, scaling environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
