The organization is in the process of relocating to a brand-new office in Schaumburg featuring modern amenities and collaborative workspace.

Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead a high-impact HR team within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and succession planning
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4+ HR professionals and contractors
  • Analyze and present workforce data using HRIS (ADP) and Excel for executive decision-making
  • Guide recruiting strategy, agency/vendor relationships, and staffing metrics
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Develop and refine HR policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Provide counsel on organizational changes, employee engagement, and workforce planning
  • Contribute to special initiatives, including career pathing and potential internship program

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in mid-to-large organizations
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Experience working in environments with both salaried and hourly employee populations
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong competency with any HRIS (ADP Vantage is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present insights to executive leadership
  • Comfortable handling sensitive employee relations issues and partnering with legal/compliance as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
  • Pathway to promotion within 1–2 years
