Join us and take pride in being part of a team that values your growth and success.

Position Summary:

As the Senior Human Resources Manager, you’ll provide strategic oversight and leadership of the human resources function at Advanced IPM, with accountability for people operations across the organization. This role translates business strategy into workforce strategy, serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, and leads and develops the human resources team. The position owns HR strategy and outcomes with influence across organizational design, change management, technology, policy and process development, and core people operations. Success requires a forward-focused leader with credibility at all levels, disciplined use of workforce data, and the ability to build scalable HR infrastructure for a growing family-owned company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the senior HR advisor to leadership, contributing to business planning and presenting workforce insights, recommendations, and business cases that inform decisions on growth, branch expansion, and acquisitions.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year people strategy grounded in workforce planning and organizational design, and advise leaders on complex employee relations and HR risk matters.
  • Own the design and performance of end-to-end people operations, setting service standards and controls across the employee lifecycle and holding final accountability for accurate payroll, prevailing wage, benefits, retirement plans, and leave programs.
  • Lead compensation and talent strategy, including job architecture, salary ranges, market benchmarking, pay equity reviews, merit and incentive processes, and recruiting for field, corporate, and leadership roles, with a focus on technician pipeline development.
  • Own HR technology strategy and oversee the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of HRIS, payroll, applicant tracking, learning, and performance systems, along with the scalable policies, workflows, and handbook content that support them.
  • Design and lead initiatives that improve retention, engagement, and operating efficiency, and guide restructures, branch openings, integrations, and technology rollouts with structured communication and adoption planning.
  • Direct HR compliance and risk management for a multi-site, field-based workforce, spanning wage and hour, prevailing wage, leave and accommodation, pay transparency and equity, hiring and data practices, workplace investigations, workers' compensation, employment claims, and internal audits.
  • Structure and lead the HR team for scale by defining roles, service standards, and escalation paths, overseeing hiring and performance management, and building capability in employment law, talent acquisition, investigations, and analytics.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
  • Professional HR certification is strongly preferred but not required. SHRM-SCP or SPHR a plus; SHRM-CP or PHR paired with equivalent senior-level experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive human resources experience, including at least 3 years leading and developing HR staff and demonstrated responsibility for directing or substantially owning a multi-functional HR operation.
  • HR leadership experience in a multi-site organization with direct accountability for payroll, benefits, and California employment law compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience administering and auditing prevailing wage payroll, including reporting and response to labor compliance or awarding body audits.
  • Demonstrated experience building or scaling HR programs, policies, and processes and leading organizational change; experience with acquisitions or new-location openings preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and the ability to travel to branch locations across California and Nevada; experience supporting a field-based service workforce preferred.
Benefits we offer:
  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
