HR Generalist
Advanced IPM is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. As one of the fastest-growing family-owned pest control companies in the U.S., Advanced IPM offers a friendly, fast-paced, and supportive work environment.
The HR Generalist will provide hands-on support across employee relations, benefits, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, compliance, investigations, and HR operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our corporate office in Roseville, CA, with regular hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Provide employee relations support, including coaching, performance concerns, corrective actions, and employee concerns
- Administer employee leaves and accommodations, including FMLA, CFRA, and return-to-work coordination
- Support benefits administration, enrollments, employee questions, qualifying life events, and audits
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims, modified duty, and return-to-work activities
- Support workplace investigations, including interviews, documentation, and follow-up
- Maintain confidential personnel records and support HR compliance and policy administration
- Coordinate OSHA recordkeeping, vehicle accident administration, DMV monitoring, and SafetyCulture tracking
- Assist with job descriptions, HR projects, audits, and process improvements
- Partner with employees and managers to provide timely and consistent HR support
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with employee relations and confidential HR documentation
- Knowledge of California employment practices and HR compliance
- Experience with leave administration, workers' compensation, benefits, or workplace investigations preferred
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong communication, organization, judgment, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow through on deadlines
- Paycom and/or SafetyCulture experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree and/or PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Ability to complete applicable post-offer pre-employment requirements
