As a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our
daily HR operations, ranging from
employee relations,
benefits management, and
compliance. You will carry out key responsibilities in our HR programs, from
employee engagement,
performance management, and collaborate closely with our Human Resources Manager to ensure an exceptional experience for all employees.
This role requires an experienced HR professional with a well-rounded skill set, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capability to lead key initiatives within the department. Our ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of all processes across the employee lifecycle from Hire to Retire.

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will support multiple facets of Live On Nebraska's HR function. Below is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities.
HR Operations
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and HR-related inquiries
- Maintain and update employee records and files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Manage HR documentation, process forms, and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, prepare new hire materials, and facilitate orientation sessions
- Support offboarding activities, including exit interviews and final documentation
Benefit Management
- Conducts presentations that educate employees about their benefits
- Answers questions employees have about their benefits
- Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
- Enrolls employees with insurance carriers and processes life status changes
- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
Leave Administration
- Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries
- Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA
Employee Relations
- Support employee development
- Monitor employee morale and company culture
- Support performance review process
Regulatory Compliance
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and leadership
- Assist with updating policies and practices
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related degree is preferred
- At least five years of experience performing HR Generalist responsibilities in an HR Department
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- HRCI or SHRM certification is a plus
