Duties, Responsibilities & Other




    Provide day-to-day support for workers' compensation case coordination, including incident reporting, documentation tracking, and follow-up with employees, managers, and insurance providers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters related to absences, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
  • Collaborate with the Director of human resources to address employee questions regarding workers' compensation benefits, medical leave, and related claims.
  • Help manage sensitive employee relations communications, including documentation of incidents, investigations, and coordination with HR leadership on next steps.
  • Support data entry, file management, and documentation tracking for workers' compensation claims and employee relations case logs.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and education initiatives related to safety, reporting procedures, and workers' rights.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing HR communications, especially those involving policy updates, benefits related to injury or disability, and employee well-being.
  • Participate in the coordination of HR-related events and training, including safety awareness and workplace conduct sessions.
  • Provide administrative support across a variety of HR functions as needed, including onboarding documentation, pre-employment screenings, and compliance with I-9 and self-ID reporting requirements.





Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience is required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience
  • SHRM certification is preferred
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
  • Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
