Key Responsibilities
- You are a trusted advisor to managers within your client group, which may include one or more of our international hub offices, providing guidance and coaching on workforce planning, change management, organizational development, compensation planning, and coaching a highly engaged, high-performance team.
- Acts as the first point of contact for HR-related queries for managers and employees in designated client business units. Provides guidance and support on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, ensuring alignment with human resources strategies and processes.
- Supports the Human Resources team in implementing strategic HR plans, HR systems, and best practice policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team and is a trusted partner to business leaders, supporting recruitment for professional and clinical development roles within the designated client group.
- Partners with Benefits and Compensation teams to manage benefit and incentive compensation programs.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements within HR operations and participates in initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value.
- Ensures compliance with legal and legislative requirements across all geographies within the client group and adherence to HR policies and procedures.
- Fosters an environment of effective and collaborative working relationships among employees, management, and external partners.
- Supports various HR projects as appropriate.
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Successful completion of professional HR designation(s) is a plus.
- Experience as an HR Business Partner in a biotech, pharma, technology, or other high-growth, professional, or scientific environment is required.
- Strong competencies in core HR areas: compensation, organizational structure and design, performance management, employment law, leadership development, and employee relations.
- Deep knowledge of California employment law and standards; familiarity with employment standards in other global markets (Canada, Ireland, Singapore) is required.

- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar large HRIS systems is strongly preferred.
