The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP) supports the luxury retail business across California and international locations, acting as a strategic advisor to leaders on all people-related matters. This role balances high-level strategy with hands-on execution in HR operations, driving talent strategies, organizational design and a people-first, high-performance culture aligned with the brand’s prestige and global footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with retail and corporate leadership in California and global regions to align HR strategy with business goals.
  • Champions a high-touch, luxury-service Team Member experience which reflects the brand’s identity.
  • Drives performance management, employee development and career pathing tailored to luxury retail talent.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to attract and grow top-tier talent across retail and corporate functions.
  • Advises leaders on complex employee relations cases with discretion and business sensitivity, ensuring alignment with California and international labor laws.
  • Ensures consistent application of policies and employment practices across regions, with an understanding of cultural and legal nuances.
  • Supports organizational growth and international expansion by leading HR initiatives in new markets or showroom openings.
  • Guide change management processes, including communication planning and transition support for leadership and teams.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in employee engagement, retention and performance.
  • Additional projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 7-10 years’ Human Resource experience, including at least 3 years in an HRBP role supporting luxury or premium retail.
  • Experience working in multi-location environments across California and international markets
  • Deep knowledge of California labor laws and exposure to global HR regulations required (Europe and Asia a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting client groups in both corporate and retail functions.
  • International Human Resource experience a plus
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS, DayForce preferred
  • Strong financial understanding, metrics-driven and analytical

Compensation Range : $100,000 - $120,000
