Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Human Performance Advisor to support mission-critical work.

You will provide technical expertise for HP programs, develop training materials, and oversee HP services across locations, ensuring peak operator performance and timely feedback to command structures. The role requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility, US citizenship, and the ability to meet physical demands, including training SOF and lifting loads.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience planning and coordinating sport- or mission-specific performance programs.
• Current certification in one of: AT, CSCS, PT, MPA, or Performance Dietitian.
• Capable of meeting physical demands with SOF; hikes, austere environments, testing and training.
• Lift/manipulate loads up to 25 kg; maintain BLS certification.
• Fluent English; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and synchronize technical training, guidance and policy recommendations.
• Design, implement and oversee HP services with methodical approach for peak performance.
• Inventory HP supplies, requisition equipment, and present new items for purchase.
• Oversee training and travel of HP staff within scope.
• Develop training materials for HP program staff.
• Collect and report data as required by HQ and program managers.
• Document work performed in the Enterprise-wide database and records.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings with program staff and medical teams.
• Utilize computers and software as required by HP leadership.
