Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a Senior Human Factors Engineer to help shape enterprise-level standards and support program-embedded engineers across ACE. The role emphasizes usability, ergonomics, and safety, with opportunities to develop guidelines, training, and AI-assisted HF workflows.

You will perform anthropometric analyses, conduct task analyses, and contribute to verification planning, collaborating with systems engineering and operations teams to advance human-centered

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. in a technical discipline such as Human Factors or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years in human factors or human-centered design (aerospace familiarity preferred).
• Foundational knowledge across HF competencies: ergonomics, safety, analysis, HSI, systems engineering.
• Ability to translate HF findings into actionable engineering guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork across disciplines.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible for US work status.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise HF standards and training materials.
• Support AI tools to aid HF processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for continuous improvement of enterprise HF outputs.
• Provide HF guidance to program-embedded engineers and designers.
• Support HITL tests and anthropometric analyses.
