Job summary

Rimkus, a worldwide engineering and technical consulting leader, seeks a Forensic Human Factors professional in Phoenix. You will manage diverse consulting projects, conduct field investigations, perform data collection, and review literature to support cases.

Responsibilities include site inspections, client meetings, expert report prep, and maintaining billable hour records. A master's or Ph.D. in a related field with experience in litigation support is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cognitive, Experimental, or Industrial Psychology; Neuroscience; Industrial & Systems Engineering; or Human Factors or related field.
• 3+ years of work experience in human factors litigation consulting support preferred.
• Ph.D. in Cognitive, Experimental, or Industrial Psychology; Neuroscience; Industrial & Systems Engineering; or Human Factors preferred.
• Board Certification from BCPE and/or Professional Engineer License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a legal and/or proactive consulting practice.
• Complete site and product inspections.
• Meet with colleagues, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
• Prepare expert reports, deposition summaries, and affidavits.
• Research statutes, regulations, and standards; provide written analysis to consultants.
• Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files and evidence.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony.
• Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours on specific cases.
