Rimkus is seeking a PhD-level Human Factors expert to lead and grow our forensic consulting practice in the United States. You will conduct analyses related to safety, risk perception, and decision-making, prepare expert reports, and testify as needed.

The role requires 5+ years in human factors litigation consulting, strong communication, and ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects, travel up to 25-50%.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field required.
• 5+ years in human factors litigation consulting; attestations in inspections, reports, and testimonies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a legal consulting practice.
• Complete site inspections.
• Meet with colleagues, clients, and other professionals on cases.
• Prepare expert reports and affidavits.
• Organize, store, and retrieve case files and exhibits.
• Provide deposition and trial testimony.
• Track and manage billable hours for cases.
