Senior Human Capital Management Consultant
Location: Falls Church, VA. We are Suntiva, an award‑winning management consulting firm specialized in government HR and organizational performance.
We are seeking a Human Capital Management Consultant to help our clients tackle complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver innovative organizational performance solutions, including leadership development, organization assessment, strategy development, team effectiveness, training design and delivery, change management, and business process optimization.
- Lead project teams through the full project lifecycle: initiation, needs assessment, solution design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Consult across the human‑capital lifecycle, designing, implementing and evaluating strategic programs such as workforce planning, competency modeling, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, succession planning, performance management, employee development, and engagement.
- Analyze employee survey data (Federal Employee Viewpoint) and facilitate focus groups to identify root causes and recommend short‑, mid‑ and long‑term improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of management consulting experience focused on human‑capital management.
- Strong expertise in designing and delivering strategic and operational HR programs.
- Experience analyzing employee survey data and conducting focus groups with managers and staff.
- Skills in at least one of the following: organization assessment, leadership development, strategy development, team effectiveness, training design/delivery, change management, or business process optimization.
- Experience with federal government clients and the unique regulatory environment.
- Project leadership experience, including developing goals, plans, timelines, and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to engage senior government leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within project scope and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Certification or degree in Organization Development, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
