Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises seeks an experienced Hull Technician Contract Instructor to lead classroom and lab sessions, teaching advanced welding, NDT via visual, magnetic particle, liquid penetrants and ultrasonic inspection.

The HT Instructor supports the Surface Warfare Schools Command in Norfolk, VA, with instruction using government simulators and TTE, maintaining student records and conducting remediation as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of technical instruction experience in the subject matter.
• Must have 2+ years in a Military Training Environment.
• Must be a former Senior HT (E5–E9) with recent shipboard experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety, advanced welding techniques, NDT and ultrasonic inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom and lab instruction in Advanced Welding, NDT methods and Ultrasonic Inspector.
• Operate Government simulators and training equipment; maintain student records and conduct remediation and retests as needed.
