Qualifications
10 years full-time hands-on welding and brazing experience aboard naval vessels.
Required certifications in 6G P-73, 4F/5F P-14 carbon steel (SMAW), and others.
Experience with vertical and horizontal Grade III, IV, V brazing.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver instructional programs in welding and brazing.
Train students and shipboard personnel on safety and maintenance.
Administer and grade examinations, and maintain welding records.
