Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs across our Andrews facility. You will act as the main HSE liaison, drive training, conduct risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response while supporting cross-site initiatives and maintaining precise records and reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, 5+ years HSE experience in oil/gas or industrial manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the oil and gas or industrial manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable HSE regulations.
• Experience developing and delivering HSE training programs.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, JHAs, and audits.
• Experience leading incident investigations and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Onsite Location: 1701 N US Highway 385, Andrews, TX
• Implement and maintain HSE programs and procedures to meet internal standards and external regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison for all HSE matters for the facility.
• Conduct or coordinate HSE training and document compliance within the HSE Management System.
• Maintain HSE records and generate required reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate and lead risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and assigned HSE initiatives.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external HSE audits.
• Represent the facility in HSE meetings with operations leadership and regulatory agencies.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analyses, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Provide emergency response support outside normal working hours as needed.
• Travel up to 5% of the time to attend training/meetings or support HSE programs at other sites.
