Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a proven track record of implementing effective HSE programs in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams to ensure HSE requirements are met
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in HSE regulations and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project plans and processes
  • Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory agencies as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional certifications in HSE (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred
