Job summary

Harvest Midstream Company is seeking a Safety and Health Specialist to support safety, health, and training initiatives. You will identify hazards, develop programs, and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state regulations across operations.

The role requires seven years of oil and gas health and safety experience, strong data management, and excellent communication skills. Expect cross‑functional coordination, on‑duty readiness, and ongoing training and reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Seven years minimum in operations, regulatory, and/or health and safety in oil and gas.
• Strong data management and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with differing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate safety and health hazards across environmental and operational conditions.
• Develop safety programs, campaigns, trainings, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and advise on policy improvements.
• Conduct inspections, report observations to leadership, and suggest improvements.
• Perform contractor safety assessments and recommend performance improvements.
• Lead safety training programs and field safety meetings.
• Maintain safety databases and documentation.
• Lead emergency response activities and incident management training.
• Conduct root cause investigations and develop corrective actions.
