Job summary

The role focuses on incident investigations, program management, and ensuring adherence to ISO 14001/ISO 45001 standards while collaborating with HR, operations, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational/Industrial Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
• 2–3 years of health, safety and environmental experience; audits/inspections experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and risk assessment methods.
• Ability to lead and inspire safety initiatives and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and regular inspections; analyze data to identify trends and improvements.
• Provide safety training for employees, supervisors, and managers; partner with site to close gaps.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Manage safety programs such as behavior-based safety, safety committees, and engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with HR, operations, and facilities to integrate safety across the organization.
