Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Sr. HSE Specialist (Contingent) to implement health, safety, and environmental policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safety culture across TACOM-related operations.

You will handle incident investigations, inspections, and reporting while engaging with clients, subcontractors, and regulators. The role requires coordinating with stakeholders, developing HSE metrics, and training teams to uphold KBR’s Zero Harm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, and at least 5 years of directly related HSE experience.
• High School Diploma plus 7 years HSE experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Advanced certification as safety professional from a nationally accredited body (e.g., BCSP, AIHA NEBOSH) is required.
• Deep knowledge of HSE programs, policies, and processes.
• Strong English communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team to achieve HSE initiative objectives and manage risk.
• Provide direction to team members to meet functional objectives.
• Develop and maintain HSE reporting requirements across locations.
• Identify trends in data and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training for zero-harm and safety culture programs.
• Track KPIs for each location and management level.
• Audit activities and follow up with corrective actions for internal and external customers.
