Job summary

Senior HSE Specialist role within KBR supporting TACOM (ANAD) contingency operations. You will implement HSE policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a safety culture across teams and contractors.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, inspections, and data-driven improvement initiatives. Position is contingent upon award; travel to outdoor environments is possible and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, and at least 5 years of directly related HSE experience.
• Hold advanced certification as safety specialist or practitioner from a nationally accredited body such as BCSP, ABIH, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of KBR HSE programs, policies, procedures, and processes.
• Must have knowledge of AR 385-10 and OSHA CFRs 29 CFR 1904,1910,1926 and host nation legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team to achieve HSE initiative objectives.
• Support delivery of functional objectives by guiding team members.
• Develop and maintain reporting to share HSE information across the business.
• Identify trends in data and recommend improvements.
• Develop and deliver training for zero-harm and safety culture.
• Monitor KPIs for locations and management.
• Audit with corrective actions for internal and subcontractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
