Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a Senior HSE Specialist (Contingent) to implement health, safety, and environmental policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety across programs for TACOM-related work.

The role involves leading incident investigations, inspections, training, KPI tracking, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and regulators, with a focus on risk reduction and zero-harm objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field with 5+ years of HSE experience.
• High School Diploma with 7+ years of HSE experience may substitute.
• BCSP/ABIH/NEBOSH or equivalent advanced certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AR 385-10 and OSHA CFRs 29 CFR 1904/1910/1926.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to achieve HSE initiative objectives and manage risk processes.
• Develop and maintain reporting to share key HSE information across locations.
• Identify trends from data and make recommendations to improve safety.
• Develop and deliver training for zero-harm culture and regulatory requirements.
• Track and monitor KPIs for each site and project performance.
• Audit and follow up with corrective actions for internal and subcontractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
