Job summary

Renewable Acres, Inc. seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead the company-wide HSE program across construction and O&M activities.

The role partners with leadership and a third-party HSE consultant to implement and continuously improve safety practices in the field. The ideal candidate will spend time with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, and field crews, driving a culture of accountability, hazard recognition, and proactive safety measures on solar, BESS, and

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressively responsible HSE experience, preferably in renewable energy or related fields.
• Experience implementing and administering corporate HSE programs.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent construction or operating sites.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction and general-industry requirements.
• Experience with electrical safety, LOTO, and energized electrical work.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root-cause analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide implementation and administration of RAI's HSE Management Program.
• Establish consistent HSE expectations across construction projects and O&M operations.
• Conduct project and operating-site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Provide HSE guidance and technical support to Project/Construction Managers and field teams.
• Support preconstruction, mobilization, execution, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Establish and monitor JHAs/JSAs, pre-task planning, toolbox talks, inspections, and training.
• Oversee HSE requirements for subcontractors and third-party providers.
• Lead or support incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Develop and monitor leading and lagging HSE performance indicators.
• Maintain regulatory and HSE recordkeeping requirements.
• Coordinate specialized training and third-party HSE resources.
• Promote proactive safety culture through planning, hazard recognition, and continuous improvement.
