Job summary

Sr. HSE Specialist (Contingent) at KBR will implement health, safety and environmental policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a safety culture.

You will conduct incident investigations, inspections, and ensure HSE standards across sites in alignment with client, federal, state, and local regulations as well as KBR policies. You will engage stakeholders, interpret standards, and contribute to data analysis, reporting, and the development of HSE programs under a contingent award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Advanced certification as safety specialist/practitioner from a recognized body.
• Knowledge of HSE programs, AR 385-10, OSHA CFRs, and host nation laws.
• Excellent problem-solving and mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team to meet HSE initiative objectives with risk controls.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Develop reporting to share key HSE information across locations.
• Identify trends and recommend corrective actions based on data.
• Develop and deliver zero-harm and safety culture training.
• Track KPIs and ensure audits and corrective actions are completed.
