Job summary
Burnett Staffing Specialists seeks a Senior HSE & Compliance Manager for a high-pressure vessel manufacturer in Houston, TX. You will lead HSE, regulatory compliance, and risk management across manufacturing, fabrication, testing, and field operations.
The role requires a strategic safety leader who can develop a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT, ASME, NBIC compliance while partnering with Operations and Engineering to improve site safety and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HSE experience in heavy manufacturing or related industries.
- 5+ years of leadership or management experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies and systems.
- Lead companywide safety initiatives focused on incident prevention.
- Advise leadership on HSE matters and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and monitor HSE metrics and performance indicators.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement.
- Ensure OSHA, EPA, DOT and state/local regulatory compliance.
- Lead risk assessments for fabrication and testing activities.
- Conduct incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
- Manage environmental programs and audits.
- Develop and deliver HSE training across the site.
- Lead third-party audits and customer HSE assessments.
- Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
