Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Senior Manager, HRIS to lead Workday and related HR systems, aligning HR priorities with technology strategy and data quality. You will drive automation, analytics, and self-service reporting while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.

The role partners with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, and vendors to implement scalable HR technology, improve processes, and ensure effective adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in HR, HR operations, HRIS or related functions.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employee data, and the employee/manager experience.
• Experience with Workday or other HR systems from an HR functional/project perspective.
• Proven ability to coordinate HR technology projects and drive work to completion.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting change management, training readiness, and user adoption for HR changes.
• Ability to partner with IT, Payroll, Finance, vendors, HR leaders, managers, and employees.
• Experience leading HR transformation initiatives, shared services, or global HR operations.
• Project management or change management, Agile/Prosci/Lean certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR’s priorities for Workday and related HR systems to support HR strategy and service delivery.
• Act as the bridge between HR and IT, defining needs, priorities, and coordinating resources.
• Partner with HR leaders and vendors to identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes.
• Coordinate HR technology projects from planning through launch, ensuring timelines and roles are clear.
• Gather HR requirements and document needs; work with IT/vendors to evaluate solutions.
• Manage project routines including meetings, issue tracking, testing support and leadership updates.
• Keep HR stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and changes affecting employees.
• Provide HR functional leadership for Workday and related systems, focusing on data, reporting, and user experience.
• Collaborate with IT on system changes, security, reporting, releases, testing, and issue resolution.
• Review enhancement requests and prioritize work based on value, compliance, and resources.
• Develop change management plans and communications for HR system changes.
• Create training materials, job aids, process guides, and readiness activities for HR changes.
• Gather feedback post-launch to support adoption and identify improvements.
• Support adoption and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
