This individual contributor will lead transitions of our HRIS, ATS, and LMS while managing daily system operations and workforce reporting, with collaboration across IT and Payroll. • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and vendors; coordinate implementation decisions and payroll readiness with HR, Payroll, IT, and business partners.
• Own daily system configuration, workflows, integrations, troubleshooting; maintain access controls, data quality, and documentation to support reliable, compliant operations.

• Identify repetitive HR work and implement automation; collaborate with the Data/AI Team as needed to pilot AI solutions and measure efficiency, accuracy, and adoption.

• Valkyrie Enterprises, a defense contractor, is seeking a Lead HRIS Analyst in Virginia Beach, VA (Remote/Hybrid) who combines HR expertise with hands‑on technical skills and an innovative, automation‑focused mindset.
• This individual contributor will lead transitions of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and Learning Management System (LMS) while managing daily system operations and workforce reporting.
• The role also works with our Data/AI Team to explore practical AI capabilities that improve HR administrative efficiency.

Job Description:

• Lead platform transitions through requirements, vendor evaluation, configuration, data migration and reconciliation, integration and user acceptance testing, launch, and stabilization.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and vendors; coordinate implementation decisions and payroll readiness with HR, Payroll, IT, and business partners.

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in HRIS or HR technology.
• Must have experience supporting HR systems in a large, growing global company and scaling processes across business units.
• Must have experience managing HRIS, ATS, and LMS transitions, including personal leadership of at least one complete HRIS replacement or migration through launch and stabilization.
• Must have hands‑on system configuration and troubleshooting, with working knowledge of APIs, secure file transfers, data mapping, and reconciliation.
• Must have strong knowledge of HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, time and leave, payroll, and learning; ability to translate HR needs into system requirements.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Power BI, HRIS reporting, and advanced Excel.
• Must have experience improving processes through automation, with independent problem‑solving, clear communication, and interest in developing AI capabilities for HR administrative work.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Paycor, Deltek Costpoint, Litmos, or comparable platforms, preferred.
• Government contracting or regulated industry experience; acquisition integration experience, preferred.
• Experience with workflow automation, low‑code/no‑code tools, or AI‑enabled solutions, preferred.
• Relevant HR, HRIS, project management, or platform certification, preferred

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel to Virginia Beach, VA, up to 20% for remote employees.
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
