Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in HR systems, records management, HRIS, or data governance
• Experience interpreting and applying regulatory requirements related to data privacy, security, and records retention
• Experience with process improvement, system optimization, or workflow design

Responsibilities

• Administers and oversees the HR records management system and related HRIS functions, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, security, and availability of employee data
• Provides expert consultation to HR leadership and stakeholders on records management, data governance, system capabilities, and compliance requirements
• designs, evaluates, standardizes, and optimizes processes for employee records lifecycle including onboarding, maintenance, retention, and archiving
• Identifies and implements opportunities to streamline HR processes (payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, time tracking) reducing manual effort and inefficiencies
• Interprets and applies regulations related to records retention, data privacy, and security ensuring policies and controls are followed
• Leads audits and analyses of records management and HRIS processes to identify risks and improvements
• Supports system and process enhancement initiatives, including migrations, upgrades, integrations, and workflows
• Develops, maintains, and delivers reports, dashboards, and data insights to support decision-making across HR and the institution
• Enhances system usability and self-service capabilities to improve employee/manager experience
• Develops governance standards and documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and sustainability of HRIS operations
• Provides guidance to team members on documentation standards and compliant data handling
• Collaborates with internal and external auditors to support audits and ensure accurate reporting
• Analyzes trends and performance metrics related to HRIS and records management to recommend strategic improvements
