Job summary

State of Delaware is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst IV to perform expert system analysis, consultation, and training at the state level across HRIS applications covering HR, benefits, payroll, time and attendance, and pension administration.

In addition to core duties, the role requires cross-functional expertise across multiple modules, ensuring compliance with laws and delivering effective training to end users statewide.

Qualifications

  • Three years' experience analyzing data in automated information systems.
  • Three years' experience using HRIS for payroll/benefits data entry and reporting.
  • Six months evaluating HRIS applications for compliance with laws and policies.
  • Six months supporting planning, coordinating, and reporting on special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provides system analysis and consultation for HRIS applications and data reporting across multiple agencies.
  • Resolves inquiries, training needs, and data issues; documents resolutions in an internal system.
  • Monitors data changes, user access, and security; ensures data accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal HRIS laws, rules, and procedures.
  • Develops, tests, and trains on HRIS enhancements and upgrades.
  • Maintains reports and supports routine data reporting for end users.
  • Updates procedures, job aids, and training materials for staff.
  • Participates in meetings, presentations, and cross-functional teams.
