Job summary

Horizon3 is a fully remote cybersecurity company seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to scale its engineering, product, design, security research, and data teams. You will partner with leaders, coaches managers, and translate ambitious business goals into people strategies that enable execution.

The role focuses on workforce planning, organizational design, and building scalable people programs to support rapid growth while maintaining alignment with roadmaps and company values.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of HR Business Partner experience in high-growth tech environments.
• Ability to partner with engineering, product, and other technical teams through rapid growth and change.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate priorities into people strategies.
• Proven influence and coaching capability with leaders at all levels using data and credibility.
• Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and performance management.
• Sound judgment in employee relations and navigating complex situations.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a builder mindset.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Deep knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and scalable programs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Product, Design, Security Research, and Data leaders to scale high-performing organizations.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and resourcing strategies.
• Coach managers through hypergrowth, helping develop talent and strong management practices.
• Build high-performing organizations through clear expectations, feedback, and performance standards.
• Collaborate on headcount planning, hiring prioritization, and investments aligned to roadmaps.
• Drive talent reviews, calibration, succession planning, and promotions.
• Use organizational health, engagement, attrition, and workforce data to inform decisions.
• Support leaders through organizational changes to keep teams aligned and engaged.
• Accelerate new manager effectiveness through coaching and onboarding.
• Manage employee relations with sound judgment balancing business objectives and risk.
• Partner on scalable people programs and manager enablement for a growing technical org.
• Act as a trusted thought partner bringing data and insights to leadership decisions.
