Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior Manager, People & Culture to serve as a regional HR Business Partner for Mission Critical projects in Texas. The role emphasizes performance management, employee engagement, and talent development, with on-site duties in Dallas four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5-8+ years of progressive HR Manager or Business Partner experience.
• Strong analytical skills to leverage data for HR programs and strategies.
• Proven strategic HR coaching skills with a track record of client service in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability for regular field travel to Mission Critical project sites (up to 20%-30%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner and build strong relationships with the project team, influencing key initiatives.
• Maintain customer service standards for the P&C department and escalate as needed.
• Own onboarding and offboarding tasks for the project site and ensure new hires have the necessary tools.
• Support relocation processes with the Mobility team.
• Coach project leadership on leadership effectiveness.
• Support regional HRBP in performance management and talent reviews on-site.
• Assist with annual and quarterly compensation planning.
• Drive employee engagement across the employment life cycle and conduct stay/exit interviews.
• Lead on-site employee relations resolutions and investigations in collaboration with HRBP and legal.
• Lead change programs and champion DEI initiatives.
• Support the broader HRBP team with company-wide programs.
