Job summary

Insurify in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to act as a strategic partner to leadership across Engineering, Product, Marketing, and SEO/Content. You will lead People & Culture globally for these functions, working with teams in Cambridge and Sofia, Bulgaria, and spending time onsite in Cambridge.

You will own immigration planning, guide organizational design, and drive performance, compensation, and talent development programs while partnering with legal and Workplace

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of HR Business Partner or related experience
• Experience in insurance or technology sectors
• Strong understanding of US employment law
• Experience supporting distributed teams or global organizations
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels
• Strong coaching and communication skills for managers in performance-driven environments
• Translate business needs into practical people solutions and drive initiatives
• Analytical mindset with data storytelling ability
• Independent work style in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with HRIS tools and collaboration platforms
• Exposure to incentive compensation and regulated environments
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with employees and leaders across functions
• Develop deep understanding of business operations to inform people decisions
• Advise on organizational growth, team structure, workforce planning and change management
• Partner with leadership on team structure and scaling distributed teams
• Drive performance improvements and compensation structures
• Use data to inform recommendations and drive practical people solutions
• Manage employee relations issues with fairness and sound judgment
• Lead P&C processes such as engagement surveys, performance reviews and compensation cycles
• Lead learning and development initiatives
• Own P&C programs and ensure cross-location consistency
• Partner with legal and regional P&C teams on employment law and compliance
• Collaborate with Workplace to align on priorities
• Own immigration program and visa/sponsorship planning
• Contribute to cross-functional P&C initiatives
• Stay aware of regulatory requirements and engage specialists as needed
• Mentor and support other P&C team members
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team environment
