Job summary

Insurify is hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to support Engineering, Product, Marketing, and SEO/Content teams. You’ll be a senior advisor to leadership, shaping people strategy for a fast-paced digital company with Cambridge, MA and Sofia, Bulgaria visibility.

Expect cross-functional impact, data-driven decisions, and a focus on building an inclusive, high-performance culture. You will drive org design, talent development, and processes across locations, with on-site work at least 3 days

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably in customer-facing or operations teams.
• Experience in insurance or technology sectors and supporting technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of US employment law and high-volume employee relations.
• Experience supporting distributed teams and global organizations.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong coaching, communication, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical people solutions.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with HRIS tools and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build strong trusted relationships with leaders and employees across functions.
• Advise on organizational growth, team structure, workforce planning, and change management.
• Coach managers to lead distributed teams effectively and scale operations.
• Drive performance, expectations, and compensation guidance.
• Use data and trends to inform practical people solutions.
• Handle employee relations issues with fairness and judgment.
• Lead P&C processes: engagement surveys, performance reviews, and compensation cycles.
• Oversee learning and development initiatives to build skills across the org.
• Own P&C programs, ensuring consistency while adapting to local needs.
• Partner with legal and regional teams on employment law and compliance.
• Coordinate with Workplace for space, structure, and guidance.
• Own the immigration program with counsel for visa/sponsorship planning.
• Contribute to cross-functional P&C initiatives driving meaningful change.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and licensing; escalate when needed.
• Mentor other P&C team members and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
