Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with engineering teams in San Francisco or San Jose. You will champion culture, lead strategic HR initiatives, and support leadership with performance, talent development, and organizational design.

You will work closely with the People Team to drive workforce planning, succession, and DEI initiatives, ensuring fairness and high performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience, with focus on engineering teams.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to coach leaders and teams.
• Strong strategic and tactical HR capabilities across org design, performance, and development.

Responsibilities

• Champion culture and values across teams, aligning HR processes with hiring and performance management.
• Provide HR partnership to engineering teams, embedding in team activities and dynamics.
• Advise leaders on coaching, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop and execute HR strategies for engineering groups, including workforce planning and talent development.
• Lead talent acquisition and development processes with emphasis on culture fit and hiring bar.
• Coach on interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution to improve teamwork.
