Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner (Employee Relations Investigation) to partner with leaders, execute people strategies and guide managers on HR policies and performance matters while protecting confidentiality.

You will work with HR colleagues across recruiting, compensation and benefits, support an exempt and hourly workforce in engineering/manufacturing, and require a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HR experience; relocation may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years of human resources experience.
• Experience with HR systems (Greenhouse, UltiPro, Workday) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries and advise on relations issues and performance management.
• Partner with employees, managers and senior leaders on analytics and organizational initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR functions to optimize programs for client groups.
• Counsel employees and managers on policies, laws, and confidentiality.
• Manage transfers, promotions, exits and retention trends.
• Maintain confidential employee files and process HR transactions in Workday.
