Job summary

Webster International is seeking a Senior HRBP for Employee Relations & Experience in Webster Groves to partner with staff and nonacademic departments. This role leads investigations, engagement programs, and workforce planning while guiding leaders on employment decisions and policy interpretation.

The Senior HRBP will collaborate with AVP, People & Culture, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and a positive staff experience across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field required
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible HR experience including HR business partnership, employee relations, or senior-level workforce consultation
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters and conducting workplace investigations
• Experience with employee engagement, organizational change, workforce planning, and cross-functional initiatives
• Experience in a complex, matrixed organization; higher education experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Staff HR Business Partnership & Leadership Consultation: advise on employment practices, workforce planning, and people-management matters
• Employee Relations, Investigations & Performance Management: manage staff relations cases, investigations, and performance actions
• Employee Experience, Engagement & Recognition: lead engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programs
• Organizational Effectiveness, Workforce Actions & HR Due Diligence: advise on restructures, staffing changes, and business case evaluations
• HR Governance, Cross-Functional Partnership & Service Excellence: coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Payroll, Benefits and other units
