Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston, MA, seeks a strategic, influential Senior Director, HR Business Partner for its Data, Technology & AI organization. You will partner with the Chief Digital & Information Officer to lead talent strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning at enterprise scale, driving AI-enabled transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with Data, Technology, Engineering, Product, AI/Analytics, Cybersecurity, or similar technical teams.
• Strong understanding of Data/Technology/AI operating models and organizational implications of AI-led transformation.
• Proven ability to leverage data, analytics, and AI in HRBP workflows to improve decision making.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner to the CDIO and Data/Tech/AI leadership team, translating business and AI strategy into a prioritized people agenda.
• Lead change to mature the Data/Tech/AI operating model and governance across the enterprise.
• Own the talent strategy, succession depth, and leadership development for the function.
• Drive strategic workforce planning, capability development, and internal mobility to address evolving AI roles.
• Coach and develop senior leaders, strengthening team performance and accountability.
