Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Workplace Technology and Business Engagement in Boston to lead technology strategy for Real Estate, Facilities, and Workplace Operations. You will own the technology roadmap, manage enterprise apps, and deliver digital solutions enabling business capabilities.

You will partner with senior leaders, drive AI, automation, analytics initiatives, oversee vendor relationships, and lead a team to ensure secure, scalable operations across global workplaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT/enterprise applications experience.
• 5+ years leading teams, programs, or major enterprise initiatives.
• Experience partnering with Real Estate, Facilities, Workplace Services, or similar functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
• Lead the technology workstream for office buildouts, relocations, and new site openings.
• Own governance, lifecycle management, and optimization of enterprise platforms.
• Drive AI, automation, analytics, and modern enterprise technologies to improve outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships and service delivery across global workplaces.
