Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston seeks a Director, Enterprise AI Enablement to drive AI adoption across the company. You will shape the enablement roadmap, partner with Learning, Internal Communications, and Data Technology to translate AI strategy into practical guidance and campaigns.

You will lead change management, readiness assessments, and the creation of a network of AI champions, ensuring responsible use, manager coaching, and measurable value for Vertex and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in organizational development, organizational behavior, human resources, psychology, education, communications, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred, especially in industrial/organizational psychology or organizational behavior.
• Typically requires 10+ years in enterprise change management, organizational effectiveness, capability building, learning strategy, or technology adoption.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformations in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Shape and drive an integrated enterprise AI enablement roadmap with clear milestones.
• Partner across teams to create a connected employee experience and adoption plans.
• Lead change management including readiness assessments and reinforcement plans.
• Define AI capabilities and translate strategy into practical experiences for all levels.
• Build an AI adoption network of champions and measure progress.
