Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned IT systems analyst to collaborate with decision makers, owners, and end users to define and refine business, financial, and operations requirements. You will drive functional design for new systems, lead Workday-related initiatives, and ensure robust testing, training, and deployment of applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years IT experience in business systems, MIS, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years creating and maintaining documentation for systems and processes.
• 5+ years identifying and resolving system/process issues.
• Proven experience in operation and analysis of database hardware, software, and standards, plus data retrieval methods.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies; Azure DevOps preferred.
• Experience with professional services or AEC industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements.
• Identify and resolve complex system incidents, requests, and maintenance.
• Lead functional design sessions for prototyping new systems to improve processes.
• Review and analyze existing systems and develop improvement strategies.
• Plan and lead the design, development, and deployment of new and enhanced applications.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for new systems.
• Provide orientation and training to end users for modified systems.
• Independently manage Workday projects and coordinate with HR teams for process and system support.
• Ensure prioritization of change requests for Workday and evaluate system-wide impact.
