Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Workday HRIS architect to lead configuration, integration, and automation across the platform. You will guide strategic roadmap, optimize security, and ensure scalable solutions aligned with business priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands deep Workday expertise, hands-on HCM implementation experience, and ability to mentor teams while maintaining compliance with governance and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of HRIS experience, Workday HCM focus, in technical/lead roles.
• 5+ years hands-on Workday configuration and implementation.
• Experience as a solution architect on full Workday HCM life cycle.
• Working knowledge of AI features in Workday and AI solution building.
• Reporting skills in native Workday and People Analytics modules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to People Group; translate needs into scalable Workday/HCM solutions.
• Define problem statements, assess impact, align tech with priorities.
• Gather requirements, analyze workflows, identify people/process/tech improvements.
• Lead build-versus-buy decisions, manage technical debt and scalability.
• Mentor team; design and oversee Workday configuration standards and automation.
• Configure security, business processes, calculated fields, and validations.
• Design and optimize data flows between Workday and internal systems.
• Configure Workday functionality; execute test plans.
• Drive Workday Extend, PRISM, and Agentic AI solutions; develop future HRIS roadmap.
• Evaluate add-ons, monitor platform health and user experience metrics.
• Lead development and support; troubleshoot and maintain Workday configurations.
• Perform impact analysis for major Workday releases and stakeholder impact.
• Provide end-to-end design perspective on Workday integrations; document changes.
• Monitor HRIS changes; implement privacy, SOX, audit, and governance standards.
