Job summary

Ericsson in Plano, TX seeks a Senior People Business Partner to support CSS Americas with employee relations, labor and compliance across North America. You will partner with leaders, manage complex matters, and align people plans with business priorities.

The role requires extensive HR experience, union knowledge, and bilingual capabilities in French and English. This position is based in Plano with travel and collaboration across the region.

Qualifications

• Preferably 15+ years of HR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
• Master’s degree and PHR or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in unionized settings; advising on union matters and labor relations is required.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws; Canadian employment law experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, influencing, coaching, consulting, and facilitation skills.
• AI-ready mindset; experience with AI tools to improve productivity is a plus.
• Bilingual (French and English) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to people leaders, guiding and coaching to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Align people strategy with business priorities by building capabilities, structures and processes.
• Advise on employee relations, union matters, and employment law compliance; ensure policy adherence.
• Manage complex employee matters, labor relations, investigations, and risk with fair resolutions.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and L&D for integrated solutions.
• Support bargaining readiness by coordinating with Legal, Operations, Finance and People partners.
