Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a People Specialist Intern to join the People Team in Plano, TX for Summer 2027. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience supporting the employee lifecycle, HR operations, workforce transitions, compliance activities, and People Business Partner support in a fast-moving, global organization.

The role provides exposure to organizational change, workforce planning, and collaboration with PBPs.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Master?s program in human resources, business, industrial-organizational psychology, or related field.
Strong interest in HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
Excellent communication, judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
Analytical mindset with ability to review data and summarize insights.
Strong organization skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems or data reporting tools is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to use AI tools responsibly to support research and productivity.
Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks and enrolled full-time at a 4-year college.

Responsibilities

Support key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding-related coordination and data updates.
Assist with HR systems, reporting, and data requests to provide insights to stakeholders.
Help support HR programs, compliance activities, and recurring processes.
Collaborate with People Partners on employee questions, manager support, and project work.
Use AI-enabled tools to generate insights and streamline routine tasks.
