Job summary

San Francisco Ballet seeks an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead employee relations and HR operations. You will partner with the Director of Human Resources, guide managers, and drive investigations, onboarding, performance, and HR systems stewardship.

The role requires strong judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of improving employee experience in a complex organization, with a hybrid in-office work schedule in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years HR experience with substantial employee relations caseloads.
• Experience leading investigations and coaching across organization.
• Strong knowledge of federal, CA, and SF employment law.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations caseload and investigations.
• Provide coaching to managers and escalation to Director or counsel as needed.
• Own HR policy maintenance and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
• Administer Paycom workflows and HR data integrity; partner on learning systems.
