Job summary

Nilfisk, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior HR Operations Specialist to deliver comprehensive HR operational support across the United States and Canada.

You will guide employee lifecycle activities, ensure accurate Workday processing, and drive policy compliance with cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities include advising managers on HR processes, handling complex employee relations, leave administration, and data integrity while collaborating with Legal and regional HR colleagues for

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in HR Operations or related role.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting HR processes across multiple locations or jurisdictions.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, including employee transactions and reporting.
• Ability to manage complex HR operational matters with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, transfers, promotions, changes, and separations.
• Ensure accurate execution of employee transactions in HR systems (Workday).
• Prepare and maintain employment-related documentation and changes.
• Coordinate lifecycle activities across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, performance processes, and documentation requirements.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and leave processes.
• Develop SOPs and participate in HR process improvements and system testing.
