Job summary

Canopy A&D seeks a Senior Manager, Human Resources Operations to own HRIS, design workflows, and partner with Payroll and IT. You will lead integrations, security, and data governance while driving process improvements across HR and supported functions. Strong analytics, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

You will manage end-to-end HR processes, enable automation, and ensure compliant, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in HR operations, HRIS or related fields.
• Owns an HRIS as system owner or primary admin.
• Led at least one full HRIS implementation or major reconfiguration.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem solving.
• Experience partnering with Payroll, Finance, IT and ops.
• Skilled at process design and adoption.
• Experience with HRIS integrations (ATS, background checks, benefits, provisioning).
• Strong project management; can run multiple workstreams.
• Comfort with AI tools in HR; willingness to adopt.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS configuration, workflows, security, and releases.
• Lead integrations between HRIS and connected systems.
• Partner with Payroll to design workflows and controls.
• Perform root cause analysis on system/process failures.
• Design and build HR processes and cross-functional workflows.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, Quality, and site leadership.
• Lead system implementations and major reconfigurations to go-live.
• Develop data governance standards across operating companies.
• Run data integrity audits and reconciliations.
• Maintain HR reporting and dashboards for leadership.
• Create HR process library and SOPs.
• Train HR team and people leaders on new processes.
