Job summary

Canopy A&D in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manager, Human Resources Operations to design and run the HRIS, workflows, and data governance. This role partners across Payroll, IT, and Finance to deliver reliable HR processes in a manufacturing environment.

You will own integrations with ATS, background checks, benefits, and provisioning tools, drive system implementations, and enable AI-driven improvements while ensuring HIPAA and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in HR operations, HRIS or related roles.
• Experience owning an HRIS as the system owner or primary administrator.
• Led at least one full HR system implementation or major reconfiguration.
• Strong root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with HRIS integrations (ATS, background checks, benefits).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS configuration, workflows, security, and release management.
• Lead integrations between HRIS and ATS, background checks, benefits, and IT provisioning.
• Partner with Payroll to design workflows and controls.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive fixes.
• Design HR processes and automate lifecycle workflows.
• Build HR reporting and dashboards for leadership and Finance.
• Run data governance and audits across operating companies.
• Train HR team and people leaders on new processes and systems.
