Job summary

Hightouch is seeking a Sr. People Operations Specialist to scale our People function. You’ll own onboarding, offboarding, leave and benefits administration, and ensure data accuracy across systems like Rippling.

You’ll handle complex employee questions, develop self-service resources, and serve as the go-to expert on HR compliance and benefits. You’ll also drive compliance activities, maintain postings and I‑9/E‑Verify audits, manage state registrations, and contribute to annual filings.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in People Operations or HR operations in growth environments.
• Deep knowledge of benefits and multi-state leave programs in the U.S.
• Fluency with HR systems and emphasis on data accuracy.
• Experience supporting international employees (EOR a plus).

Responsibilities

• Own the employee lifecycle: onboarding and offboarding processes and systems, running end-to-end offboarding including COBRA and final pay timing with Payroll.
• Own leave and benefits administration: manage leaves (FMLA, NY PFL, disability) and complex life events and carrier issues.
• Keep our data clean: data hygiene, audits, and workflow execution in Rippling; build reports as needed.
• Be the escalation point: handle complex questions and create self-service resources.
• Be the team's SME: provider of benefits, leave, and HR compliance knowledge and judgment.
• Operationalize compliance: postings, I-9/E-Verify audits, state registrations, and annual filings.
• Build for scale: write internal process docs, expand Notion KB, and use AI to streamline recurring work.
