Job summary

Alliant Energy Corp Serv Inc is seeking a Senior People Operations Consultant to provide trusted HR operational support across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with HR and business leaders to navigate complex employee matters, leverage data-driven insights, and drive organizational change for exceptional HR service delivery.

The role includes administering leave programs, supporting employee relations, and optimizing Workday processes and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources.
• Experience in HR Operations, Employee Relations or HR Business Partner roles preferred.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters.
• Experience supporting and navigating HR systems, Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive HR operational support across the employee lifecycle.
• Manages leave of absence and accommodation programs including FMLA, ADA and other complex cases.
• Supports employee relations matters and workplace investigations in partnership with HR and Legal.
• Administrates HR technology and Workday processes, data audits, and issue resolution.
• Manages escalated HR service requests and cross‑functional coordination for timely resolutions.
• Partners with HRBPs on employee and labor relations, organizational changes, and change management initiatives.
• May support talent and workforce planning efforts.
• Leads or participates in HR projects to improve service delivery and data integrity.
• Develops and analyzes HR metrics, dashboards, and reports.
